WWII spurred the production of some of the most awe inspiring aircraft ever
built. The Vought F4U Corsair is no exception. The Corsair was powered by an 18 cylinder Pratt & Whitney R-2800 radial engine that produced up to 2,300 horse power.

With the exception of the link rod, the pieces in the gallery above are awaiting their own museum quality displays. I will happily create these if you’re interested in purchasing a piece of history for display. Please contact me for information regarding a commissioned piece of WWII memorabilia. I have over a hundred pieces of WWII memorabilia, including gauges and engine parts from U.S. fighters and bombers and even wreckage from a German ME109. I absolutely love working with these pieces, it is my pleasure to prep them for display. Design options are limitless.

Salvaged from an engine restoration shop, the genuine link rod in the gallery above still contains traces of oil from the engine. Only cleaned up enough to be safe to handle, this link rod and custom display stand were designed to museum quality standards. As a fan of aviation history, it was my pleasure to commemorate this piece accordingly.

Here’s your chance to own a piece of WWII history. – Link Rod in stock $160 –
